Card for Christian Confirmation

This is my first folded envelope card. I first made it following a tutorial in the Norwegian magazine "Et trykk". I had this really bad feeling using a hole 12" sheet of paper to make one "small" card, so I made a new one, using on A4 paper. Unfortunately, I had already sewn the 12" patterned paper, but I managed to use some of it on this card instead.

I´ve fallen in love with this beautiful stamp from Shorty n´n friends, its such a joy to colour. For this one, I masked out the present the girls is originally holding in her hands. I drew a cross, to got with the Christian confirmation "theme". I´ve coloured the stamp using distress inks, water colours (they do mix!!!) and Sakura pens.

I´m not really sure how I feel about this card. It looked really good when standing up, using the triangle at the back as support. The green square looked out of place when seeing the card from the back. You could call it an experiment!

Great details! Love the colors you used and that gem is beautiful! That ribbon that the tip tucks under is really a neat closure! :>
