Challenge #50 - Touchy Feely

So, I´ve finally made an entry to a challenge again. This is another Confirmation card, for a girl as well. This is my first entry for "A Spoon Full of Sugar". I was really struggling with this card. The customer wanted me to use a photo, which was not the best. I used Fragments from Tim Holtz (Ranger), but I used to much glue so it wouldn´t dry and got all bubbly. I did add one at the envelope after taking these photos. Hopefully I´ll get it right next time!

Materials used:
  • Card Blanc, Panduro
  • Swirl stamp, Heidi Swapp
  • Lightning Black ink, Dew Drop (love it!!)
  • vintage ribbon
  • staples coloured using Alcohol inks
  • brass flowers and brads, Unknown
  • hand made paper embossed with Cuttlebugs Shell Collage and my Grannys rolling pin, inked with Lightning Black ink and Distress ink.
  • Non woven fabric
  • Stamp, Papirloftet

Hi Siri! The way you finish off a card from the front to the back to the inside to the envelope is Wonderful!! I love the trim you used and that patterned piece...fabric? Its great how you are able to blur the lines of crafts by using out of the box supplies. Love it! :>

The "fabric" was bought in a paper shop in Edinburgh. The label said "nonvowen fabric". It is really strange, because it looks kind of like tissue paper, but you can not tear it. My guess is that it is some kind of fibers pressed together and then the patterned is printed on top.

I´m so glad you like the card!

Siri :-)
