Christmas Card Tutorial

Materials used:
  • Bazzill cardstock
  • Heat embossing tool
  • Snow flake stamp
  • VersaMark pad
  • Clear Embossing Powder

I have stamped the hole 12"x12" paper with my lovely Ladybug and Frieds stamp. It has 4 different snow flakes and some very cute swirls! After stamping I´ve covered the hole sheet with clear embossing powder. The VersaMark ink dries so slowly that it is no problem stamping the hole sheet.

As you can see, when using the heat gun the effect is the same as on the embossed cardstock from Bazzill!

For the cookie man I have used some scraps of brown cardstock, and embossed the man using white embossing powder.

I hope you have enjoyed this short tutorial!

Is that the Panduro-heat gun? I've been wanting to get myself an embossing gun, but I am a bit skeptical about something branded under Panduro... Does it work ok?

My heat gun is from Marvy Uchida. I haven´t tried the Panduro one. I do love my "gun" though, specially with clear embossing powder. I think it creates a great effect!!

You are very smart to emboss the whole sheet. I often forget to do that and only do little mats here and there and then have to start the whole process over again for the next little bit. I do love the effect of the tone on tone with the clear embossing. A very cute Christmas card, Siri! :>
