My first ATC!

I´m going to Scraporama in 8 days, and I´ve decided I want to bring some ATC to give the people I meet. I think that will be a great way to show my work, and maybe get more visitors to my blog. Of course, I´m a suckers for things that take time, and you can see my first ATC sketch below:I wasn´t quite sure how to translate the sketch into a card, and ended up cutting out all the pieces by hand. I can not wait until I can get my hands on some punches and some more die cuts. I used my new, used, QuicKutz o emboss the "suns" in the middle, other than that I had nothing to help me with than a craft knife.


I do like how it came out, even though it isn´t exactly like the sketch . It will definitely be a one of, because it just take to much time. I think I will scan the sketch and do something with it in Photoshop. Maybe it will turn out to be my first digital paper?

I´ve used my dads amazing Pro photo printer and printed my information on to the back of the ATCs before I make the front. The logo is made in Photoshop, but I will still use my great grandpas stamp on my cards. It´s not the logo, or the name, I would have picked if I had all the choice in the world, but finding a 90 years old usable stamp, with my last name on it, kind of did it for me. How could I not use it?

I´ll be posting my ATCs as they get created. hopefully I´ll get a bunch of them ready by next Friday. The only problem is that there are so many tempting challenges going on, that I´m afraid I´ll stray of my chosen path.... Wish me luck!
