Frames, a challenge from Sukkersøtt!

This card is my response to challenge no.29 at Sukkersøtt. The challenge was to make a frame surrounding your main motif. I chose a lace my great grandmother chrocheted, and that my grandmother has kept. I do like how it turned out, and I I think it´s a great way to use something that otherwise would have been lying in a drawer somwere, never to be seen. I have about 6 more of the same square, and my Granny has already asked me to make a similar one for her sisters birthday this July.

Flowers of friendship

I made this card for one of my best friends, Elise. I used Patterned papers from Tilda Papercraft and Cloud9Design for Fiskars. The cipboard is from K&Company, and the flourish is from Basic Grey.

The flower is hand made, and I used a paper from Karen Marie Klip, called Sweet Kisses. I do love how it came out. Because of the pattern the petals look really textured. I distressed the edges of each petal using a Hi-Text metal marker and Encore ultimate metallic copper ink. This is actually the flower used in my blog bacground.
