BOM: Challenge #3: 10 things that amaze me!

BOM: Bonus challenge

Because Linda who host the BOM challenge over at Scrapbooking and Crafting Friends celebrated her birthday in August we got a bonus challenge to scrap about our birthday. I chose to scrap about my childhood birthdays, adding the traditions that I loved the most! This turned into a double retro inspired layout.

The first page has different photos of the things I remember doing at my birthday, the second is about the jello clowns my Dad made for the party. (My Mom says she did it, but I have photographic evidence that Dad did it at least once!)

I love how my parents planned that the pajamas I wore on my third birthday would match the lovely Sassafras Lass Paper! ;-)

To create a visual link between the two pages I have included a sticker from the June Bug Collection from Basic Gray, and a scalloped strip of the background paper from the next page (June Bug). This strip is actually the "INFO"strip from the 12x12 paper. It has the info about the paper and line on one side, and a pattern on the other! I thought that was great!

I have also included yellow on this page, so that it has a link with the two previous pages in the album. The title is: "MY DAY"

On the second page I have used the scalloped border from the Sassafras Lass paper. I have also included a journaling sticker from the same design, and photo mats in the same card stock (Core´dination)
